NO it wont fit the 79, not with out cutting and welding. It would fit my 1980 nicely though ;)

DG were supposed to be reproducing the 79/80 RM250 pipes, well thats what ive heard. Ive contact them 2 times but never heard back. Not sure who i should try.

I contacted Maxwell Motorcycles. Said he would get back to me but never did. I migth try again. I have emailed DG with the part number for RM 250 N/T pipe but didnt hear back, might try again but ive got an idea of the sort of company they are.

I have previously bought my DG pipes through Dirt Overstock - also on EBAY US - around half the price of the Australian agent (including delivery) and I had a pipe here in 8 days.  A few mates have bought through them also with some success?

When i was last in LA, i visited DG and picked up my pipes from the shop front and never had a drama in the whole process, but i did learn one thing, a result of the visit, is that DG pipes/mufflers for old bikes appear to be a side project for them. They owners have evolved the business towards the massive ATV market and i think that pipes and mufflers are becoming a hinderance given the volumes.

DC plastics are also agents ;)
Bahnzy, I would have to agree with your  statement that they have found another market and  pipes are now a  side line .
It would have to someone like Vintage suzuki or Dc Plastics to put a bulk order in to cover there costs ( 50  at a guess)

Well thats good news Steve. Have you got a photo? do they come plated, painted black or bare? How much did it cost? What do we have to do get the ball rolling so they make some more? They make them for the 400 so why not the 250?  Maybe a stack of us just need to email DC plastics? an order of 50 would sell easily on ebay i reckon plus DC would ship off a few to their various sellers throughout the world Eg eddy twiinshock in Holland, and Mainly maico in Aus (i assume they are DC dealers still?) i reckon 10 would sell to people on this forum just like that.
