Title: Bike pick up in Gayndah, Qld?
Post by: Nathan S on January 22, 2011, 10:44:09 pm
Can anyone help?

Gayndah is pretty much due west of Maryborough, according to Google maps.

Can help with petrol money, and would bring it back at CD8 time, at worst.

Nathan.

Gayndah is right out in the sticks Nathan, about an hour north west of Gympie if i remember correctly.

I've recently procured a decent bit of steel that will augment the ability of the Forester (7x4 box trailer), however one does appear to require it to be registered for road use in the RAINY state (QLD) this shall occur soon.

If your desperate and not in a hurry i can take a run up on a weekend . Its about a 4 hour round trip from the rainiest place in the world .....maleny, where there is ample all be it humid, storage under the house for all manner if things. How'd u do with that airbox at buderim?

PM me if you get stuck mate

Nathan was that you that got that Husky in Gayndah for $300 ?  good pick up.
A long time ago I used to go to Gayndah quite a bit and like the others said, it's a long long way from anywhere.
Pokey you would be going good to get there and back to Maleny in around 4 hrs, also the D"ag hwy at Blackbutt is still cut so you would need to head north on the Bruce hwy and then turn in, if it"s not fixed by the weekend.

cheers

Thanks for the replies, guys...

I missed out on the Husky - should have just done the prick thing and phoned him late(ish) at night, but being polite meant I was too slow.

Evo, I think of it all that time - I swear that 95% of the stuff I want is in Vic or Qld.
