Anyone got a secret supply of these or know someone with some ?
!985/86 WR Husky. 143.5mm dia.
Looks to have come out of something else because of the lense glass still stuck to the reflector.

If you have a lens for it and cant find a reflector you could get it replated and glue the lens back in. My first stop would be www.husqvarna-parts.com or Cafe husky forum. You could find a new light but i doubt you can get one with the tabs like that. Does it really need those 3 mounts? If not you could get a normal insert and use 'W' clips.

Go to Autobahn and buy a light the same size with a replaceable bulb (it will have to be a halogen). You then have 2 options to instal -
1) install the light using silastic to hold it in - no bolts. Install the bolts as "dummies" for the correct look.
2) cut out the bulb holder from the old light housing so it is left as a ring including the mounting tabs. Use this as a retaining ring to slip over the new light and bolt it in. I cut mine using a dremel tool. You need to carefully break the glass out as it is stuck in quite well.
I have used both methods and they are both great.

Ta Steve.
Was looking for a Husky one and went on a one track thingy.
Didn,t think laterally.
Suppose I could just buy a complete smaller one and silastic it into the shell.
LWC the 3 tabs are how they mounted the shell into the surround.
Husky-parts has a complete unit for only $325+ postage. :o
