Title: PE 250 --> pe 175

Does anyone know if a PE250 motor will fit straight into a PE 175 frame ???  frame is a 1979 PE 175, belive the motor we have is a 1981 PE 250  ????

any one ???

Straight as in no welding/frame mount mods? I dont think so. Whats the engine number?

have to go look. SOld that 175 i had on ebay and told the guy i know of a 250 that might be a runner if it fits be better to rum as a 250cc class i was thinking, but if they dont just slot in might not be worth the HF ?   IF they did swap i thought it might be a good little Evo fun bike for him to race

6 digits will be 80-82 250. 5 is pre 80
