Im having trouble logging into ebay for some reason. Well i start off as being logged into AU ebay and i have clicked on one of my items i am selling in 'my summary' as i want to edit the listing. I click on the 'revise item' link at the top and it takes me to a log in page again. i assume this is just an extra precaution to get you to log in again. Anyway,i go to log in again and you can see the websited brain ticking over and it tries to log me in but nothing happens. It just re-loads to the log in page again. It doesnt say my password is wrong or anything. As a precaution i changed my password anyway but the same thing happens and that second log in page to access my item to revise it doesnt load/get past the part where i enter password. I assume this is a ebay prob? Can anyone else who has somethign listed see if they get the same problem when trying to log in and 'revise' their item for sale? Thanks

Silly question.
The item hasn,t got a bid on it has it?
Ebay won,t let you change a description after a bid has been made.
Happened to me.

No bids, its a BIN. Usually if its somethign like that a message will come up saying you cant do that or what ever. It seems like its a fault on that ebay page i think. I just paid for an item fine. Its just that second log in page to revise the item doest want to register that ive entered password. I click sign in and then the screen just refreshes to a blank log in page again. ???

that has happened to me before and i just waited a while and tried again (couple of hours) and hey presto im in :o

Happened to me too. I used Ebay live help to sort it out. Took about 10mins. Have the item number handy or open another tab when typing away to the assistant from Ebay.

So it doesnt fix its self then?

No not for me it didn't, perhaps if I had waited long enough it may have ???,

Ok well i tried to do the live chat thing and i could not log into that So i emailed ebay direct. I got a helpful reply back saying i need to delete my 'browsing cache' Anyway after a bit of fidling around i got it working and was able to revise my item. Its odd because this is the first time its happened to me in the 2 years ive owned this computer. It took 2 years to fill up my browsing cache.

gents - run a little free downloadable program called CCleaner - you will be amazed how much "shite" you have floating around inside your computer - internet history, cookies etc all taking up room and processor speed. If not computer literate just run the cleaner - NOT THE REGISTRY UPDATER!!! :o
