Title: trying to get the jack hogg classic up and running again

just to let people know that the surfair club at moruya are keen to get the bikes back at the track there ,i just renew,d my membership and the lady said there real keen to get jack hogg classic back and other bike days and combined meets with the cars ,and get the mx track rebuilt in new part of the complex.if anyone is interest ed can u let me know .they needthe bikes and we need a great track like surfair .also any officals (bike) who could be there for bike meets would be good .i raced at surfair on my rm,s when i was a kid and at the 2009 jack hogg .let me know what u think ,thanks don.

You've got my interest.
I'm pretty sure our own JAP454 has been heavily involved in past years.
Hopefully you can make it happen.

I've only been to Moruya once and it was a ripper. I'd love to see it back on the annual schedule again. There's not enough variety on the vintage dirt track calendar these days, we used to have Nepean, Amaroo, West Wyalong, Condoblin, Griffith, Wagga, Raymond Terrace, Broadford and others that I've no doubt overlooked. In recent times poor old Penrith club and their Nepean meetings and the occasional Riverina meet such as the recent Griffith Nats have been all we've had to look forward to. The return of the Jack Hogg would be another positive step in getting classic DT back up where it used to be.

Firko, dont forget Canberra, have a vintage class at all there Dirt Track meets, First one Kings and Queens end of January, Jack Hogg was a great event.

g,day guys .im glad everyone is keen to get the hogg and other bike days up and running again .i,m heading down  to moruya  from coffs harbour in a few weeks time and to meet the lady i talk to from the surfair club .the jack hogg wqas a special meet and we need somewhere to ride our sliders .i,ll find out from her what we need to get things going .lots of riders or people jioning the club  would be great.its only $40 .see if we could get ride days and meets once a mth .anything possible i know my mates are keen and they live in the moruya area, my no is 0410383202 ,i was told that there are only a couple of bike members but nobody know how to run meets like the hogg. we,ll get it back.thanks don
