Title: Power steering fluid

On the cap of the reservoir the oil spec will be noted, but most important, if you have to top it up by 50ml (as a guess) then you have a 50ml leak somewhere in the system.

Post by: TooFastTim on January 04, 2011, 02:46:38 pm: Nissan x-trail. I looked on the cap but it just says: "Use power steering fluid". It's just on the minimum and I suspect it hasn't been youched in 130,000 k's.

Being a "wrecker" i think its car no knowledge and can just about f@#k every car in the yard under 16 y/old :P

We recommend that you use DEXRON-III ATF in that system.

also that wrecker would sell a few power steering units I reckon.
