I have at long last, gotten the motor back, which has been totally rebuilt, and am chomping at the bit to put the bike all back together.
Buuuttttt,I haven't a clue, what, where, or which plastics will fit the front and rear guards?
I aim to make some metal, (not tin) ones up to put on for the original look, but will swap to plastic to ride her on the paddock.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Hopefully will post some pics, when I figure photo bucket.
Cheers,Mark.

The 125's never had alloy guards only plastic, if you email Husky parts and talk to Fernando or Email John at Vintage Husky in the states they will advise and supply the correct guards. My 73 has after market guards which are incorrect but OK for racing and are plastic. The 250 and 400's had alloy guards in 72 and plastic in 73 onwards. Hope this helps.

Sorry Barron..but the 1972 125 did come with alloy guards and splash guard also..no HVA come iout in production with plastic until 1973...and even then the quality was poor......very brittle and easily crash damaged.... the splash guard was prone to vibration cracks also..that aside....you can get very good replicas from Speed & Sport.. :)
