Like "chook' but without the the c or the h maybe should remove the oo and the k too........ ;).
PS is the Honcho a 90 or 100? Cheers

PUCH is pronounced with an "u" like in "user"
The "CH" has to be a spoken, as if you stuck your toothbrush too deep in your throat... ;D
Listen the german pronounciation here (http://translate.google.de/translate_t?q=puch&rls=com.microsoft:de:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7SKPB&redir_esc=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=de&tab=wT#en|de|Puch)

pretend you are a kiwi and say the word Patch = Putch = Puch
easy ;D
cheers
Thanks Frank M

You listened to the wrong pronounciation.. the correct one was on the right side of the google page in German.
It's not Putch, like GD says it rhymes with chook

You replace the P with an F and it sounds like this Fuch & Chips

Pook like book
You beet me to it mate, my older brothers had a 250cc split single when you took the baffles out they sounded just like a MV ;D
so in answer to your question, they called it a Pook just like took, look.
-
We figured that out a while ago. It's not readily apparent in 46-Land... ;)

Leith, the ch in this case is a gutteral thing deep in the throat. try saying Book, and if you do it a zillion times you will find your tongue is right back for a K, but for a ch your tongue is actually forward. Sounds weird until you master it. That's the best way I can describe it, as there is nothing in english quite like it.
Think.. mmm.. 'Loch' in Scottish - do your best Sean Connery impression and you might be close.
