Title: 70s road bike front end.
Post by: Nathan S on December 22, 2010, 08:47:40 pm
Yeah, I know: Not VMX, but I've been asked to put the word out for a workmate.

He's basically looking for a disc braked front end, including forks and wheel - and the matching rear wheel. He's building a bike around some old BSA motor - but one that he can use regularly, unlike his other BSA.

He'll take a whole bike or a roller or whatever.
Cheaper is better, but he's not expecting the world for $50 either.

I'll put his number up when I dig it out of my phone - if you've got something you're keen to get rid of, then feel free to PM your number to me in the meantime.

Well he ain't gonna be disappointed is he ::).

For functioning forks try $100.

For a functioning front end try $200 - Would be my guess.

Maybe I made it sound like he's on a $50 budget... He's not.

I was trying to point out that while he'd like to spend as little as possible, he's not a dreamer.

Wire spoked wheels & disc front brake.

He's willing to consider anything else.
