WENT DOWN THE DUMP TO GET AN OLD TYRE AND CAME BACK WITH A WHOLE RIM,$5.I THINK ITS A SUZUKI RIM BUT IM NOT SURE.
NUMBERS ON THE RIM ARE (DID JAPAN) 2.5X18 82-20-13 AND N 9/84 DOT
CAN ANYONE HELP ID THIS RIM????

9/84 is the date it was made: If it was fitted to an MX bike, then it woulda been an '85 model, but trail and enduro bikes are harder to know.
Width says that it was a 250 or bigger.
Colour of rim?
Late edit, after I'd read oldstuff's post: Ew, 2.50 is pretty uncommon - I'm sure they were fitted to other bikes, but I've only seen them on IT250/465/490s (in silver) and a couple of years of YZ250/490 (in gold).
They're an odd looking rim - really square shouldered.

My IT490K (1983) has a 2.50" X 18" rim, and I am looking for a crack free straight rim.
-
2.50 rims were on rm465 and 500s ,and it and yz490s in 18 inch for both ;)
