Three very cool pics, thanks. What does 'Electric Circus' on the helmet of the bloke in the last shot refer to?

Looks to me like the U.S. in the early 70's.
Dennis is actually riding a JAP in the second shot with a Hockey goaly's leg guard.
The Yanks loved their full face helmets with a standard visor while everyone else went for the goggled version with peak as per the guy coming second in the first shot.

Top shots , Freaky, do you know where ? when ? Dennis Chandler ?? " Limey " ??
Looks too big to be Orange County Fairgrounds in one of the shots but that may be a different meeting.
 My reaction to the first photo was " Traitor " but then came the next shot of Dennis up it for the rent on a Rotrax and I was suitably mollified !!
