I have been using the Metzler MC5 only cause its what i like for social riding, seems OK at Nepean but i was wondering if i should be on something softer for nepean...
Can someone please clarify if the track is hard packed with those skatey little ball bearing like sandy rocks on top like so many trails near Jenolan caves forest and six foot track, is a soft tyre best or hard tyre best

Any of the good quality soft terrain MX tyres will do well.
A good quality trials front is also good- like the michelin.
