Title: Classic Dirt Track Nationals 2011

Australian Classic Dirt Track Nationals will be conducted by the North Brisbane Motorcycle Club at their Nudgee track on 25/26 June 2011.General enquiries can be directed to me pending details re Sup-regs,programn , accommodation etc

Good choice for the Nats, we'll be there for sure. There's a serious effort currently underway for a Sydney club* to get it to Nepean in 2012.
* not the club you'd think it would be.

Mmmmmm...It could well be but maybe it's not one of them too. ;) The planning has only just got underway so it'd be a bit unfair to announce too much at present.  It's been 13 years since any of the major VMX/DT events have been held in Australia's biggest city and a small group of folks have made a committment to put as much effort in as possible to right that inbalance.
For the next six months lets concentrate on making the Nudgee Nats (Now that's got a good ring about it! ;D) the best event it can be. Griffith set a high benchmark so lets work at trying to continually raise the standard and get the DT Nats back up there as an equal to the MX version as far as quality and status.

Whichever club it is we need to voice our support to help build momentum.
I'd personally love to see BWP involved but whoever it is I'm available to help out in any way I can because Nepean is in my blood.
Griffith definitely set a high score that'll be hard to beat but I'm looking forward to a trip north to be on dirty side of the fence this time, I'm sure they'll do their best to maintain the rage.

Looked it up and it was on the 10-11th of July this year so l imagine be roughly the same time.........

Sup-regs in about a week.Track is at Raubers Rd, Nudgee [about 5min from Brisbane Airport]. Camping on site [nice grass area.] Information re motels etc in a day or so.Contacts [email protected], & [email protected]
