Unless it absolutely has to be 1975 CR 125, there are plenty of others that will work just as well.

Any coil from a 2 stoke, single cylinder bike will work.
I was after a specific coil(for A bike), when I was told by a bike mechanic that any coil, as long as it was within a fairly wide range of resistance, would work fine- and it did. I put a DT175 coil on an RM 125 and it was business as usual. Electrics are a" Black Art". I have an old mate who runs a CDI from a whipper snipper on his Dad's very expensive Norton. And it works beautifully!

I've searched the internet for a long time now for this very thing to no avail.  I'll be interested to see what you can come up with - refer http://ozvmx.com/community/index.php?topic=15989.15

Thanks Freaky - the one I have has 2 low tension wires.  I will give him a call though - looks like if anyone would have it he would.

Disregard my post on the other thread  ::)
