I'm rebuilding a PE250N and also have an incomplete 250C and 175T in the shed. I will be keeping the compatible parts from the 250C as spares but what will fit from the 175? Would the alloy swing arm from the 175 fit the 250N? The plan is to have a good bike that can be used for Vinduro and VMX, (just like the old days when you would ride your enduro bike on club MX days), with enough spares to keep it running for some time to come.

I don't think the 175 aluminium swingarm will fit on the 250n.
PE's don't break either you shouldn't need to many spares I would buy dc plastics and keep any originals you had though if you plan to ride it alot.

Yeh doubtful. You would need to change rear wheel etc etc. Would be a lot of stuffing around. Theres only one way to tell though, take the swingarm out the 250 and 175, grab your calipers and ruler and start measuring!

In short NO .... swing arm bolt is a smaller dia just to start with ;)

The part you want to spend the $$ on are the rear shocks get something good like ohlins the stock ones were always no good so even some hagons I have heard are good. :)

No it will not. I have all the measurements somewhere, but don't bother. It will not fit.
Find some RM250C2 stuff for your PE250C/N's.

Thanks for the advice it saves some messing around. As far as rear shocks go when I bought the 175 it had Fox Factory Shox fitted. I have brought some parts from Thor and plan to rebuild them. I hope they perform as good as they look.

Oh that is good good the better the rear shocks the better the ride, what type of fox shocks are they though the airshocks or gas shocks I am thinking of gettting some fox shocks for my pe250b providing they fit.

Gas shocks with the remote reservoir. The 250N came with Koni shocks fitted. They has 410mm centers and the Fox Shox have 400mm centres, which is close enough.
