they look to have taken inspiration from the styling of the earlier works Honda's

That boy of yours gets along all right.....obviously he's been watching Vandy. ;D
-
he fell off a couple of times though, he definately gets that from me ;D

Vandy used to own the model before this one and when i saw this one back in the day i sooooo wanted one.
love them 125 Cagiva's.
they were actually more like the RM in the motor dept.
here's my old 84 model 125.
the DG in the side panel was cut in by me with the jigsaw 8)

That one should have been a keeper Mic.

yep!
i blew it Davey.
just didn't realise it at the time.
although, if i was to get another one, i'd chase the 85 model with the front disk similar to the one Mainline has posted.

Anyone know why the '83-'84 model wmx250 (190cc) had a Brembo disk front end when the 125 only had a drum?
The bikes are pretty much identical except for the exhaust, silencer & some cosmetics.
The front disk was one of the reasons I bought a 250 over the 125. Plus Norm's were selling the 125 for $1600, the 250 (190) for $1700 & the 500 FOR $1800.

I remember spotting an '84 250 Cagiva at Penrith Wreckers a few years ago and thought at the time that it'd make a cool resto. Apparently the bike had only had an ignition meltdown and the rest of the bike was in reasonable nick. A day or so later I decided to go back and look at buying it but unfortunately it'd been sold. To my knowledge it's never been seen again.
