 I,m deciding which engine to put in my mk11 frontera, Can anyone tell me how much HP does a mk.11A 370cc (m215a)  put out ???

Horsepower measured at the back wheel, the gearbox sprocket or the sales brochure?

I,m workin on getting a mk11 370 motor from the states at the moment. I didn,t realise the question was so complex to a novice like me. Anyway I,ve got a workshop manual headed my way so I,m sure that will have all the relavent info. regards to all. lyle

  my mk 10 370  is a real tractor ,  higher gearing is the only way i got any sort of speed , and you don,t need to be in a hurry to change down ,another  bully with a high pipe would be nice , perhaps that mythicial mk 15 420 ,

Yeah, I know what you mean.... The mk11,s are few and far between now. I ,ve only been able to source mine through ebay,and that was from 3 different continents. In spain the popularity of the mk11 is rising again rapidly as can be seen on "you tube" with shiny refurbished bikes. I have seen them go for $9000 in Spain on ebay. In the USA they will pop up now and then on ebay, at very good prices,they don,t seem to hold their value there. But trying to get them to ship them back here is a real issue.......adios amigo.
