What is the cutoff year for bikes in the post classic classes?
-
1980, no specific dates for 2 stroke only, just needs to be a 2 stroke (old vs new) I run my 1972 bultaco in both to get as many laps as I can ( I need the practice)
-
It's on this Sunday @ Action Park, hope all those interested got their entries in or plan on coming to watch.
-
Hope to be there and watch, should be good, can you camp at the track Saturday night?
-
entrants list has been posted on the web site (look for forms & regs page).
Good to see some sidecars entered and a few from Brisbane etc attending.
Looking at the classics & 2 stroke list I am certain to pick up 2 wooden spoons.........Yee-Haw!

Yee-Haw! 2 wooden spoons!
What a great event, the MMCC did a great job and the track prep was awesome. Best ride I have had in a long time. Can't wait for next season.
It was a treat to see the likes of Jace Castles etc on the moderns, but there was a good turnout of classics and kids as well.
-
heard there was a bad accident- agirl was riding and got cleaned up any news on how she is
-
Good day at Action Park, hopefully some more classics can support next year. Old Donny Newell was quick out the blocks each time. 2nd race in the sidecars saw the leading outfit spinout at the tight right hander. 2nd and 3rd avoided but last one looked to hit about mid ship. rode back to the pits and the ambos were in attendance when I left.

Message from Club Secretary regarding Megan's accident,
"The last report I had on Megan Allen was today. I now have a family members phone number and I will contact them tomorrow morning. Megan's Family are at the Hospital and have'nt been heard from today. At present Megan is in a Coma(non-induced). She was having tests today to detect brain activity. That is all I know at present. She has been unconsious since the accident but has been breathing herself the whole time. Megan has suffered a very serious life threatening injury so please keep her and her Family in your thoughts and I will keep you informed. Tony"
Megan travels from Rockhampton to compete, lets hope she pulls through and is on the start line again next year.
