That is so damn close Luke!
The ebay one has "ears" on the exh port which may have been added.
I think you are on the money!
Umm...don't you have an RM80B  ;)
cheers...mario

Must give something away for my insight. I have just completed a ground-up resto of an RM80B for my little boy :-)

DS80 1978-2000 ;) differences, DS has unbridged exhaust port, fins joined in the casting beside the exhaust,  rubber dampening blocks between the fins and the circular exhaust gasket (ds don't use the separate bolt on exhaust flange like the rm) I do have a DS80 bottom end I must assemble one day courtesy of ty4 (Tony down in Victoria) yell if you're going to ditch it Mario ;D

You are right Chris (as usual) ::)
The dampening blocks made me think enduro-ish.

OK I"M YELLING CHRIS.....IT'S YOURS!!!  ;D

This is what attracts me to the forum.  The depth of knowledge (and enthusiasm)

I subconsciously knew something wasn't "quite right" but I must have been tired to not even think about the DS80. Definately a face-palm moment!

Chris is an absolute walking RM encyclopaedia !!

many thanks for the compliment Luke but the cut off for my RM knowledge is roughly 1978, never had much to do with anything later than that excepting the 80's ;)

Many many thanks to you as well Mario, let me know the damage on the postage and I'll send down the funds 8)

Well at least you had "some" idea Luke. I had none! ;D
Luckily Chris lives in Q/Land,otherwise he'd never get any work done if we came around.

I still have your address Chris,i'll send it up during the week.
cheers...mario
