Maybe a dumb question, but can anyone tell me where would I find those little cable clamp thingys that old Euro bikes come with?
e.g. on the bottom end of the brake and clutch cables on my Montesa.

Perhaps a little might help explain what I'm on about.

They have been made up I'm pretty sure, you would be better of getting them done properly....soldered and crimped. It might pay to chech if that cable is the correct size -inner to outer.

John Titman is the Aussie agent for those-Venhill products......they may even have the correct cable, take all the measurements off it for when you ring him....Ask for John himself or pm me.

www.ballards.cc has them in a 'emergency cable repair kit'
You can see them here from this wholesaler http://www.cykel.com.au/documents/2010%20pages/Cables.pdf This is the kit Ballards has in the tin.

Thanks gentlemen. That should help me out.
They came as stock with my Montesa cables, so it's not a home-made job.

Tony, believe it or not, most good mower shops sell those cable crimps.
