Title: Arnaco Shocks
Post by: TT on November 11, 2010, 09:11:04 am
I'm after a set of Arnaco shocks. Preferably 340mm, but I'll consider anything close to that.
Might be interested in any similar shocks from the period instead.
pm or email me if you know of any for sale.
Thanks  :)

what do they look like Tony?
i may have some 360mm long shocks but they'd need rebuilding.
could be Koni's though.

The shochs shown in the magazine article are late 70's billet versions that are like hens teeth. The 'boxed' ones are one of my sets from the early 70's. Apparently the later version had been re engineered to overcome the inherent seal problem with the early model. They're worth sticking with though, they're very trick thing for '73.

Thanks fellas,
Yeah Az Mike's got 'em, but being that I only paid $50.00 and $90.00 for the last 2 pairs I bought, his price seems a little steep for me.
Might change my mind on that one when I can't find anything else , though.............  :D

I really just want a set of cheap, non-gas shocks that I can fiddle with and tune myself.
I'd be interested in what you've got vandy, as long as they don't need rechroming etc

Theres usually a seller selling them on ebay but they are not listed as Arnaco shocks, they are listed as universal, classic, cafe racer or something shocks for a Norton or what ever.
