Post by: SimonC on November 10, 2010, 12:51:43 pm
Hi there

I am chasing a tank, exhaust and seat for a TY175, anything considered.

buy a complete bike off ebay, then sell the rest. some do go cheap.

Yup - if anything came up in WA that would be a good option - but there doesn't seem to be too many of them across here.

The bike is too original to split up, very unmolested frame etc, so it would be nice to get it back together.

Ebay UK has heaps of trials stuff especially Ty's
I have a sniff on there every now and then
I got a nice ty 175 and was thinking of riding local twin shock class, but  then would rather build another bike as mine is too good to trash

Thanks for that

Some nice stuff on the Sammy Miller site, their accesories ie throttles/filters are reasonably priced.

I've tried to get TY tanks and exhausts off UK ebay but sellers have not been willing to post internationally.

Ask for UPS out of the UK, I just had a big scooter seat along with a shock and a few panels sent from there for only 75 pounds.

The stuff from Millers is really well made, I have 1 of their seats on my 250. Only problem is that they use FEDEX so you'll want to get as much as possible otherwise the freight hurts
