If Lochmaree is in the neighbourhood then it the one that Chris came across in his travels. He got talking to the owner who said that they will open in about 3 months when some insurance issues get sorted.
Chris was impressed with both the owner, his policies and the area. He said that this is where he would go in the feature.

I spoke with the guy from Lochmaree a year or so back, and got some brochures and info, and it sounded great. I was planning on running an OzVMX weekend there, but soon discovered there's no spare weekends in the year to do it! Maybe one day?

Had a weekend at Lochmaree a few years ago. Excellent riding areas lots of well marked trails and a couple of good mx tracks enough to keep everyone from beginners to experienced riders happy. I was riding my old IT175 and enjoyed fanging that around the mx track. This was a pre booked weekend and was fully catered for. Everything was laid on, breakfast, lunch and dinner and the owners even built the campfire for us at night. Would be a great venue for a VMX get together.
