I finally got hold of a Thor Al swingarm for my RM 250 B - but no chain adjusters.
It hasn't arrived yet but I'm hoping someone here has an idea.
Can you use stock? Or does something from another bike fit.
-
Yes, I used the adjusters from a 250C for mine
-
Thanks for that Johnnie.
Is that the 78(steel) or 78.5(Al)?
-
C2 alloy. Just thinkin it might be a DG arm on my RM. Getting confused with my Maico which is totally different setup.

Bill i got some folded up out of stainless will try to post pics :) C2 ones dont fit a Thor arm as there only 14mm wide and a Thor arm is 25mm wide at the axle mounts .

So you would need an new axle as well then…?
VMX42

Yep needs to be about 30mm longer at one end :) dont seem to matter what end as long as its not in the middle ;D

Thanks for that Bill. Sounds like a bit of tinkering is in order.
The seller tells me I can use the standard swingarm pivot bolt . I didn't know about the wheel axle needing to be longer.
The seller did mention that they were known to crack at the shock mounts and to get a bead welded to all sides of the mounting tabs- i suppose that would be top & bottom!!

STANDARD SWINGARM BOLT OK
I HAD A AXLE MADE AND USED RM465 SPACERS AND LOCKNUTS WITH
YZ K I THINK ADJUSTERS
