Title: it 465 frame

Can any one tell me where i can source a good IT 465 frame? Just had mine blasted and its a bit rusty here and there, and rear loop is bent from a flip i think.(aren't they all? ;D )

What year and are they the same as a 250?

Mine is a 1981 5L5 it465. I am pretty sure they are the same as a 250. A YZ frame would probably do as i dont intend to register the bike, i think main differences between IT and YZ are the rear loop and some brackets and things for lights. Can anyone advise alternative frames?

Hey Shane, the 465 frame is exactly the same as the 250 apart from the numbers. You will also be able to use a "K" frame with minmal fiddling in the linkage area and airbox mount tabs. Try canberra motor cycle wreckers (they are a Yamaha dealer so may be listed under that, they are in Fyshwick) I picked up a 465YZ frame for a mate from there not too long ago

Ihave an IT465 FRAME has had rear loop removed,has compliance plate,pick up only or you organise tpt ,6 pack of jim beam and coke is the price
