Title: DT250 79 model

Can anyone tell me about the oil feed on these ,can you disconnect it and run it on premix ?. Do you have to do any mods to it to run on premix ?. The mains feel like they are shot so i,m goin to split the cases anyway .The oil pump had been disconnected and i wonder if this is what has caused the main bearings wear out.

YES! you can run a DT250 '79 on Pre-mix, the oil pump only has one outlet and it feeds into the intake  :) :) :)
