HEAVEN NEXT MEET AT LAKE GLENBAWN
When: November 6th and 7th 2010
This will be the Club's last meeting for the year. Please all turn up if you can. We will have 2 DAYS OF RACING and the END OF THE YEAR PRIZE GIVING.
What we are going to do is the following:
Saturday
Early sign -on 9.30am and scrutineering at the same time. First practice at 10.45 for the pre 78 group. Racing to start for the pre 78 at 11.00 sharp. As soon as we have finished the pre 78's we will do 15 minutes practice for the pre 85 group and then straight into racing. One round only.
If the weather is not too hot and you are all keen we will have free riding after racing for a couple of hours.
Saturday night
We have decided not to do the dinner on Saturday night. This is a change for this year, so bring your food and enjoy the company of others over a barbie.
Sunday
Lets get into racing early so we can get the presentation and the AGM going.
Entries
As always it helps if you enter early, saves lost of work on the day. Entries should be available on the HVMX web.
Emails
It was mentioned by some of you that you don't get a regular mail out from the club. Please get in touch and let us know your email so you can get the mail. We usualy sent about 2 per month
AGM
Please get thinking about this.
The committee that ran the club this year is not standing. (except for the president)
All positions become vacant. Now is your chance to get involved and help the club to keep running. Please remember that without the committee the club cannot exist.
Please nominate someone or nominate yourself.
The current committee thinks that we should have more positions to spread the load. We will be looking for the following:
CLUB PRESIDENT
VICE PRESIDENT
TREASURER
SECRETARY
ASSISTANT SECRETARY (NEW POSITION SUBJECT TO APPROVAL)
RACE CO-ORDINATOR
Accommodation
Unfortunately on the same weekend there is a fishing comp on at the lake so the accommodation is scarce. If you are looking for accommodation, start looking now.
We have tried for another location and another date but with no luck.
Camping
As always there wil be camping permited at the track. We will make sure that the gate is open on Friday for those that want to get there early.
Lets make it a good end to the season, see you there

Hi All
Only about a week and a half to go before the great track at Lake Glebawn. If you have been there you already know how good it is. If you haven't then you should come up and find out.
2 Days of racing and riding, great atmospherere, great location, great buch of people.
This is the last meeting of the year so come up because after that there is a long summer break and nowhere to race.
Please get your entries in. Get them in early, saves time on the day.
Don't forget, we will need flagies and lap scores on the day, please help.
At this stage we have no nominations for next years committee. Please think about this, no committee, no racing, no club. Please consider putting your hand up for a position and help the club run. There are quite a few of you that are capable of doing the job.
All of us in the committee are available to talk if you have any questions.

Not long to go now. Keep the entries rolling in. With the weather the way it is at the moment, dust surely won't be an issue so get out and enjoy the last HEAVEN meet for the year. As said before, one round of racing Saturday, practice riding after that. Saturday night, few quiet ales with good company around the campsites. Sunday will bring the final round of points on offer for the year as well as the AGM and presentation. Sure to be a great weekend. See you all there. Cheers.

whoo hoo 3 lapper mud fest 8),4 sleeps,hmmmm just thinking,i haven't heard the YZ100 motor running yet ???,(#2 son said it pulled ok,whatever that means??),see ya's all there, :P

New committee
Have you nominated someone or your self? We will have forms at the the track. Just another reminder that we need new people for the committee and we cannot run the club without one. Please put your hand up!

whoo hoo, was i right,mudfest bigtime ;D ;D,,still it was bloody (muddy?) fun,the YZ100 is a fugging mudhole magnet ::),thankfully the rain stopped sat morn,sunday started to warm up a tad,track coulda been dusty if Leon (the aquarian) hadn't done his thing ;),congrats to all the new committee members,big thank you to past officials,club remains in good hands methinks!,congrats to all the new # plate holders,trophy winners,grinners,some new faces too,good to see beggar back off the injury list,giving it a go,trumpy mike's gone on the list, a bummer mate,looked nasty from my flag point #6,(hint,Trumpys weigh more than Cannedhams,& tend to stay closer to the ground ;)), :P

Yeah what a great weekend ,track was unreal as always ,thanks Heaven for some great racing
riding the little princess ( XL 175 1973 ) wore me out though . Maybe I wore her out a bit to (110kg)

Nothing broken, just bruised ribs, shoulder and groin!!!
My wife doesn't normally comment on this forum, but she has asked me if anyone knows a doctor that can take away the pain but leave the swelling!!!!

Another great weekend at Glenbawn, Got to ride all track conditions in two days! Some good close racing to watch and be involved in.
Next year should be good, Buladelah expansion etc, plus all the usual rides through the year.
Can't wait to have fellow team KTM rider Dennis Myers back on the track for 2011, along with Billy Campbell and Ringo.
Thanks to the outgoing committee with what sounded like a hard year for all.

Mike, is she really worried about your pain?? Great Weekend, Considering the conditions ,the track was the best.
BIG THANKS to the Heaven organisers ,close racing allright ,got bruised ribs from Hardmans elbows :D

From a past #1 to the NEW #1 congratulations Dan you certainly deserve the plate for all the hard yards you have done ;).
Sorry to have missed the last race of the year, congrats to all the class winners and also the outgoing committee for there tireless work.
See you on the start line next year.

Good spot and not a traffic light for 200 k`s ;), Hope you had a safe ride and didn`t get too wet.

The big bosses are: Carl - President (again), Greg Holmes - VP, Kel Moore - Sec., Narelle Moore - Tres., Bob B....? - Race day Sec.
A good crew, and a darn good result considering it didn't appear outwardly that we had any interest at first. (ps also thanks to Greg Scriven for also putting his hand up for a Sec. nomination)
Thanks again to Dan Tydd outgoing Secretary... a good job well done.

Great meeting at Glenbawn, it’s always a favourite 8). Track was wetter on Sunday from the irrigation system than Saturday .
The outgoing Committee should be proud of their achievement for the year under difficult circumstances with the illness of the Treasurer and other personal circumstances changing for some other Committee members. Dan should (and I’m sure does) receive the most sincere thankyou from every Heaven member for the superhuman effort he has put in this year to keep the whole thing going.
Dan also managed to take out the No1 plate so he must be Superman!! ;D Well deserved ;).
The vote for Secretary was good as it is always great for Committee members to have the visible support of member that a vote produces. Congratulation Kel and all the other Committee members I am sure the club is in good hands.
Congratulations to all the trophy winners and 2011 plate holders :).

Have downloaded the photos from the weekend, thanks to all the officials and riders for another great weekend. The track was again in superb shape and a real treat to ride.
A big thankyou to all the helpers who volunteered their expertise and time with the rebuild of the Husky, especially Corbo the hone who had the barell looking better than new.
