Title: CR125 gearbox floats
Post by: Freakshow on October 13, 2010, 12:37:46 pm
Have a 74/75  Cr125 gearbox that has change issue. it cant seem to push a throw some times.

GEar box has been apart and all bits checked only thing we can find is the idler gears have play and it would seem when under load the trans is moving out of alignment and then making it hard to get into a gear. ( being in a angle/twist)

Can these what appear to be 4 idler gears on the shaft ends be Rebushed to take out the slop or do you need to get new 4 new gears ?? is this a common problem and whats the fix...... or who can do the fix/ rebush

BEfore you ask : no the fork and selctors are not bent, no there are no chips in the drum, etc etc the movent is in the Shafts and yes it has new case bearings through out.
