am looking for a workshop nor in perth to get a magnesium cr cover welded up , thanks

hi martin thanks for the reply went over to craftsmen fencing in joondalup they only do ali and steel welding , i looking for a place that does magnesium on my next break i have a look around midland , few welding mobs around there , dave

If you go to your local airport there will probably be someone there, if not they will know someone.....planes are full of weird metals and most of the aircraft welders are top notch.....dont go to Quantas though....there having a few problems at the moment ;D

Or make contact with a Mag wheel repairer.

Most of those guys are pretty ordinary Stuey, plus it's only the real exspensive race type mags that are actually magnesium.

What about GMC? Yeah hes not in Perth but you could sent it to him for a few $.

seriously - what it would cost in postage you will chew up in time and fuel trying to find somebody - I send all my stuff to that heartless bloke GMC ;D

hi found a few places around midland , i work away for 5 weeks on 1 off im back in perth next tues for 2 days i have a suzuki tlr 1000 that spends most of its time on a trickle charger make a day of riding and checking out workshops around midland and belmont wont be back in perth till early jan i have 2x 82 cr 125 both engines were overhauled in nsw and shipped to perth hopefully get 1 going in jan other feb. covers needing welded are magnetio chain guard covers wont stop me starting them thanks dave

I use a bloke from the airport in cairns does a great job also does titanium welding top notch but a bit far from perth ;D
