Title: Race number on jersey or body armour?
Post by: mudguard on September 09, 2010, 09:19:37 pm
Just started vmx recently and noticed a lot of race numbers on mx gear, back of jerseys or body armour. Is this a requirement to participate in racing?  ???

It is a requirement when racing at a modern meeting, not so much at vintage events.

i just printed up my numbers on a sheet of paper, then laminated it, then zip tied it to my armour. ;)
works a treat.

Dave , I got some jerseys from metro and would recommend them to any one. I think each one cost 29-30 bucks each with name and number printed on them. Yes the shipping cost me 80 bucks but i ordered them on monday and  they were at my joint in melbourne on thursday.

You'll at least have to keep the bike til the jersey arrives..
