Split pipes.
-
AND it is very trick piece of kit whatever way you arrange the plumbing ;D, my kind of bike.
-
Aha! all is revealed. What's with the split pipes? Is there a power advantage thats worth running 2 exhausts? I'm fascinated. Jerry
-
Im pretty sure the article in VMX says that they used a 2 muffler system as they could get the noise quieter than with one muffler. Hopefully i remembered correctly. Its in issue 19.
-
They came standard with split pipes look closely at the husky pic.
-
I'm pretty sure the 510 Husky had two exhaust ports like a Honda XR/XL?
-
Yep see VM issue 19, full article on 510 in there.
