Do a search on ebay I have the Beatles box collection I think they may be worth a bit but it is always better to hold on to that kind of thing as long as you can. ;)

Just play them loud and enjoy ;D

Stuck my head in at JB hi fi the other day and saw a vinyl pressing of John Mayalls blues breakers. Having owned same and replaced when I moved to CD's I was curious about the price. $30.
So much for my discarded vinyl collection being a retirement fund :P

Go with Asasins advice! I wouldn't part with my vinyl for all the tea in China.

Anyone remember the AC/DC box set circa 1986ish???
The one with the iron-on transfer. We got my mate that box set in 1986 for his 21st and he still has it.
I think my first album was Suzi Quatro's "Quatro" album 1974 as a 9 y/old and i didn't even know what hormones were back then.......I still have it,the album - not the hormones ;D.....boy she was HOT!!
I've kept every vinyl i've bought or stole, love em'

I've still got the t shirt I got at AC/DCs September 10 1979 Long Beach Arena show during their Highway to Hell US tour. I can't believe I was ever that small :o. That was Bon's last tour with the band. I can remember AC/DC being the regular Friday night band at the infamous Bondi Lifesaver back in the mid seventies. When they got famous and went overseas, Rose Tattoo replaced them.
My first record was 'Buddy Hollys Greatest Hits' bought the week after he was killed in 1959. I've still got it along with the 600+ vinyl albums tucked away in storage. I'm wanting to buy one of those turntable gizmos that convert vinyl records on to CD or memory stick but wonder where I'll find the time to actually do it. I had 200 plus CDs but they were stolen out of a friends car. Pissed off doesn't come remotely close to describing how I felt.

The first RECORD I ever bought was probably Frankie lane. It cost 7/6. I could afford 1 record a week provided I only had 1 milk shake per work day. The first microgroove record I had to save up for. It was Horrie Dargie and the 'Harlequintets. Cop that.

Well that kills the ABBA story I was about to tell....... :(
