Title: early kwaka lime green how-to
Post by: misfit on September 03, 2010, 10:08:19 pm
i do beleive i mixed up a near perfect match for the early kawasaki lime green colour used on the kx's, g31m, kv75 etc. here is how i did it:
had some chrysler/mitsubishi lime light (paint code is 4576) mixed up at autobarn in a 500mL tin,
emptied some paint out of the tin until the paint measured 30mm from the top of the tin,
bought a can of mean green, which is from a powerplus touch up can, dropped some of that in the 500mL tin until the paint measured 15mm from the top, and stirred

there is probably better quality paint than this the the end result was real good

mind you i have enough paint left over for about 3 more tanks but ah well
