Title: What Weight Fork Oil - 1978 Husky

I am in the process of resurecting my 1978 Husky 390AMX and would welcome some advice on what weight fork oil to use.

It was about 1980 when I last changed the oil in the forks so I am buggered if I can remember what weight oil I have previously used.  My owners manual lists SAE10 - SAE30 engine oil as the recommended oil, but I think we are way past using engine oil in front forks?

Hi there CJ, I have been using Motorex fork oil and its a 10w/30 . It works realy well,  HL
