Title: Early Helmet cam.
Post by: Freakshow on September 01, 2010, 12:33:16 pm
NOw i remember screwing and taping a video camera to my helmet 15 years ago, but these 8mm monsters from 1970 take the cake.

And i still complain today when my little lipstick cam doesnt focus properly on trail ride.   ;D ;D

There heads must have been stiff after the first lap  :D :D :D

Only a matter of time before a manufacturer offers an intergrated helmet with camera built in, those photo's certainly show that the thinking was beyond the technology of the time....

They actually started that in the mid 70's. I think Tibblin had a brick taped to the opposite side to balance things out...
