Post by: Slakewell on August 29, 2010, 08:28:38 pm: I had a Monty VA 125 engine # 00148 Mine look like this but with Lay down shocks , the only other one was the works one Lyal had and this isnt his bike.
Any ideas. I took these pics at Raymond Terrace I dont think it was a Modified shock palcement.

Now for these bikes, they certainly look like mine, but the Raymond Terrace 92 bit throws me completely. The 125, looks like my old works one, with the polished crankcases, not black as in the production ones, we did lay the shocks down on the worksy at one stage, but did stand them up again, after a shitfight at Ravenswood, also we replaced the pipe seat and tank with production ones, as per your photo, but how the bike came to be there I don’t know, if that is it, I did give it back to Lyall one time. I would have thought it was after 92, but couldn’t really say for sure, hope you can work something out from all that.
