Title: RM 125 firing specs

Does anyone know the specs for the ignition timing for a 1981 RM125? ie firing point in mm or degrees BTDC @xxxx RPM

For a top end set up go 0.8-0.9 and for mx 1.2-5mm BTDC

or go by the book - 17  degrees BTDC.
What timing light have you got that runs to 10000? Mine shuts down WAY before that.

I only have a basic timing light though I do know of someone who has a very good one that might still operate at 10,000rpm. Will try to get it and see what mine is running at. For now I will set it at around about 1.2 mm as suggested by "Lozza"
