Title: Pipe dent removal recommendations
Post by: PEZBerq on August 16, 2010, 07:36:07 am
Does anyone have a recommendation for someone in the Brisbane area who could take some large dents out of the header on my Husky 500 expansion chamber? Prefer the careful heating while under pressure method rather than cut and patch.  BTW what air pressure do you pump it up to when doing this - I assume you dont need that much. 5 - 10psi? If they're not in Brisbane I would still be interested.  Thanks

I blow my own pipes out.
I use 40 50 or even 60 psi for creases.

EML sorted me out at his shop in 17 Mile Rocks Rd.  What a great ambassador for VMX and side hacks :).  Vaughan is one generous guy (as one would expect from a kiwi  ;D) - even offered me a ride/swing on the mighty Wasp some time  8) 8) Might just have to check the medical insurance policy first :o :o
