Which ones?

I think the King Scorpion is pretty ordinary at $750.

The VA360 and the H6 enduro have been offered several times - maybe 4-5 times. I think both are good value but I wouldn't say cheap.

There are 3 Monties on the Oz Ebay site. They are all models that are not really competitive in their VMX classes. They were also not particularly popular models when new. They are all good bikes by the look of them.

My finger has been tempted by the VA360 but it does not have the engine speed clutch so has either been modified during its life or was 'updated' when new as there was an update to the conventional clutch arrangement if required. The seat also does not look correct.

The H6 125 is interesting but not really my area of interest.

Both the H6 and VA are for sale by a reputable collector who I have purchased a bike off. He is unfortunately forced to sell a large part of his collection.

The King Scorpion is really a general trail bike which again is not really my area of interest.

There seems to be a general decline in prices for all VMX bikes just at the moment and a lot on Ebay are not reaching reserve. Or is that just my imagination?? That is good or bad depending on your perspective whether buying or selling I suppose. I agree with MX that these bikes are still a little expensive given the work required.

Fair enough.  I know how excited some of the monty guys get and they seemed to be reasonable.  I guess I just don't know what I'm looking at  ::)

Thanks for the replies.  I'm a bit wiser now  ;)
