Mine was a few years old when I bought it and had a bit of wear . It would be difficult to know what to do with this ebay bike, as I would feel some guilt in taking it out and thrashing it. Also I think that Husqvarna got it wrong in marketing the 500AE as an enduro bike, as they are far more suited to a motocross track. After all, the 500 Auto spent a couple of years of development on the 500 MX GP circuit, with some good results. I don't think that they are that good in the bush, as they get very hot because of the friction from the slipping clutches in the transmission and lose a lot of power, especially when moving slowly in tight going or climbing hills. I had no hesitation in removing the enduro components and converting mine to motocross trim.

Sold for US$3,550. A steal. Could've landed it for $5k. Still some good deals out there if you are patient.
