Is it a mid-80's RFVC four valve model?
If it is you probably have a cracked head between the plug and one of the valves (a common problem with mid-80's models)

the slide needle & needle jet could be worn, common problem with four stroke hondas with kiehin carb, makes them run rich & foul plugs,if thats the problem it cant be tuned out the only fix is a new needle & jet,I figure you are no dummy seeing the number of bikes you have so I,m assuming you have checked valve clearances & air filter cheers Smed

as smed says and check the float tang where the needle makes contact they wear badly there as well causing incorrect float level
