paul i have a mate  allan who wants to sell a 78/79 (Not too sure which year) 400 . it was TOTALLY built for him by stacker with polished tank rebuilt motor powdercoat frame etc last year he has ridden it once and hates it ,he is in melbourne  give him a ring on 0419892147 during the day 8 -5pm

PS whats the secret with a 79 clutch should it have 5 or 6, plates mine has 5 ,works fine till bike is warm then is no good keeps grabbing

ive seen that bike but the guy whos looking for one doesnt like it for some reason
in reguard to the clutch take it back and tell him to fix it ::)

Nice looking bike Davo, it looks better than the last time I saw it at Harrow submerged in a boghole with you ready to torch it. I see the spark plug is still out so you must still be pumping the water out of the motor.

Hi Paul, i have a very nice 79-440. Bought from original owner. At best I can tell 100% original except for N.O.S 81 Maico Handlebars and Repro front brake Cable. I have been told by the U.S.A. expert Dave Gagnon, It is probaly  the best unrestored example in the U.S.A.                  http://nescodirtworks.com/COMP76NEWER.html
