You've gotta love Floodys Tom Selleck look. Smoooooth.
Good shots Rog.
-
excuse me - is that a cantilever Maico?
-
It's actually a special speedway bike with rigid rear frame. You can see here that front fork travel was also reduced to about 3 inches. It was the only bike that Jack had available that day, after writing off his MX bike the weekend before in a big practice get-off.

Doggy ,where is the Anton /Ronnie shot ? Must be late 74- yes?

Word is that theres about 600 bikes still in there crates from 2008 unsold & none have been built since, something to do with costing half as much again as anything else with no development in years. ::)
Only reason mont still exist at world level is trials is the cheapest world championship for Honda to win

Joking about the speedway rigid frame, ya Freakin' Firkster.
Yes Paul, Drakie was telling me on the phone just then, that the cantilever is squirreled away in the Stacker attic
And Monty 414 ... when's the Cappra website goin' up?
-
must admit I haven't seen one before Firko - actually not a bad looking ride!

Yes. (guilt) yes. More than ever I've got to get the bloody thing up and going. I just....keep.....getting.....side-tracked with resto's.
I promise when this 414 is finished (couple of weeks), I wont start on the next bike until the Mont site is up.
Promise.

That Maico cantilever swingarm actually looks like a Yamaha swingarm?...it definatley looks the part....maybe if they had stuck with it they could have won a world championship?
