Title: Swapping carbys
Post by: ideasman on July 21, 2010, 08:49:35 pm
Considering changing the carby on my 97 lc4 400 because the stock version is not great due to American emission laws at the time.
What are the key things i need to consider?  Is there anything i must NOT do?

Cheers.

i take it it has a "anti pollution style" carb on it? get hold of a std Dellorto that was used in the Supercomp / XC model of the same year, bolt it on and go ride. Greatlittle bike set up correctly.

I have 410 husky that has now 39 FCR Keihin, works great. Ive had them in three bikes, I think its best carb money can buy.
Ok its not "correct year"

Hey Oppet, I am unfamiliar with the 39 FCR Keihin, What were these original on? or are they just aftermarket? Where is the best place to source one?
Cheers
