Would have  loved to have seen O,l evel kneivel attempt that jump back in his day. He would vapourised into a smouldering heap and entered the Darwin Awards as well!!!

Simply awesome, the speed, and distance amazing. This guy is the real deal.
I was hoping to break the old 277.5 ft, by Trigger Gumm, now the record is 322ft!! Anyone know if that CR he rides is a 250 of AF500? Sounds like a 250 to me...

she's a 500 james,
theres a brief interview with him on the racer-x website done before the jump and he stated he was regularly practising 270ft.
when asked why not a 450 thumper, he said he just felt more comfortable on a 2 stroke and the 500 was the obvious choice.

Just watched the youtube version, how long is he in the air on the helmet cam shot, should have taken a cut lunch and water bag.
I'm not much of a freestyle fan, but I'll take my hat off to that.
