Freaky, what do you actually want, a speedway bike or a dirt track slider? They're very different animals with very different prices. I can possibly organise a Hagon Jawa dirt tracker for around the same money ( 6k) as Jims. Funny if they were the same bike. ::)

Its for speedway, but could also be in a hagon with gears as they will let you ride both, they just wont let mxframe run on there speedway.  bastatrds.

And i was looking at about half that.  I got the heads up on some evo post 76 uprights, but would prefer the 2 valve as it looks like you can enter it in a few diciplines and more classic stuff.

cheers

007 was Vaclav Verner's Jawa factory rider number . I had a few of his bikes stored in my shed for a while and they had 007 stamped as the engine number .

Do you need to be dead to have rigomortis or can i just pry while your alive ?

In the last week i went mentall and have been posting wanted ads far and wides, even O/S so far im up to 3 offers locally and all under 4k,  one looks to have little or no hours on it from new.   One has been rebuilt and is race ready, the 3rd meh..... not up to the same level as the other 2 but nothing a can of spay on the frame andf a tidy up wouldnt fix.

Pity i Wont be up and running on one for this weekends practice day, but hope to be underway for next months prac ride day if one of these ones comes through.   Fingers crossed it all pans out.

But keep your eyes out, sothing better might turn up as well

Eso was a Czech motorcycle factory producing only racing machines from 1949 until 1964, when it joined Jawa. ESO was founded by a motorcycle racing driver, and made bikes in 250, 350, and 500 cc, primarily for speedway, moto-cross and ice racing.[1][2] Engines were sourced from J.A.P. during the first year, and then an engine of ESO's own after 1950, first copied from J.A.P. and later of their own design.[3]

I don't know if joined is the correct word, nationalised by the party is probably closer to the truth

I should've known Darren, I knew Bob won at least 2, 5 threw me off.
I hope he's still fighting fit?

Ah Huh, Yes that should have read 5 australian championships, 2 speedway being '62 and '65

He's a bit upset lately as his house burned down, but he is OK and still as tough as nails... ;)

That's terrible news about his house, I can only imagine what he lost, please pass on mine & Carls best wishes. Knowing how tuff he is I'm sure he'll still get on with living.
