Title: TS100 - what year?
Post by: TT on July 13, 2010, 06:35:02 pm
Can anyone give me an idea of what year this TS100 is?

And how different was it to the TF100 of the same year?
Thanks in advance.  ;D

I remember this marque.  As a guess, (even before I seen the page below) I would say 1978.  GF in NZ circa '80 had the 125 model,  which was quasi orange/red colour tank.

Its a 1978. TF had rack/s and maybe a few cosmetic changes. Smaller headlight too? I think they had those weird bars that stuck out the sides of the engine aswell. Basically an AG bike for NZ/Aus

Pre July 78 (New graphics) TF is very very much the same thing as stated. Shit easy to get any spares for. TF's had a six speed gearbox unsure of TS but assume it is too.

Thanks gentlemen.

So the TF didn't have a dual range transmission or anything?

No thats the TC

The TF might have a smaller inlet port if the carby is smaller than the TS? I have a 185 barrel with a smaller inlet port so i reckon its either  77/78 TS or from a TF.
