Title: Ignition for RM250 1982

I have a mate who is having trouble with his RM250 ignition. Would anyone have one[an ignition] that you would like to sell??
I think the RM125X and also the RM 80 and maybe others  have the same setup. His RM looks like its 1982 or 1983. It has a couple of bars that come up vertical off the swingarm and are part of the suspension linkage?
I dont know much about motorcross bikes maybe you could identify it for us??

I think you need to get the manual with the correct output figures for the different parts involved in the electrics and get someone with a multi-meter(A suitable one) who is good with these types of things and work through the circuits one at a time.Not as hard as it sounds if the person knows there stuff.It will be easier in the long run.I sat with a guy and a multi-meter last week and in about 15 mins found a problem that had been haunting me for over 12mths.
