A few pics of the weekends racing at Farliegh. The C&J Honda was built by Rod Spry. The engines internals were copied from his KSI Honda. The bike is an absolute rocket ship. It totally outclassed every other fourstroke there. Also there was a 125 fourstroke Morini that was keeping up with the twostrokes :o A great weekends racing with a total of 39 races ;D

I've never seen so many Maico's on the track at once!.. Cool.
That C&J Honda is nice, is someone making replica C&J frames over there?
-
Not sure who is making the C&J's. This one is being sold by Rod Spry. I believe he has a few in stock. He can be contacted on
uk 07738 112589. A complete bike will cost about 8k uk.

I see they ran a different track layout to the one used for the Vets MXdN.

The C&J looks the goods. It's great that someone's making them again. There were a number of different 4 stroke frames made in the USA in the early 80's, stuff like DMR (Dick Mann), KR (Kenny Roberts), Hindall, Redline and more were all different enough to add a bit of variety to the mix. I'd like to see someone start replicating DMRs and Hindalls as they were as good if not better in some ways to the C&J.

I think this was made by Jeff Cole. It's a very nice frame and well put together. As you say, it would be nice to see a few of the more "unusual" frames being re-made. I wouldn't like to think how much it would cost to re-tool for some of them.
